Inadvertent Upshot

Permits to carry a firearm outside residency had been suspended since January due to the orders of the Commission on Elections for the coming national elections, but many had already been apprehended due to its violation ever since its implementation. Clearly, it doesn't matter how many laws are made relating to gun ban, it will not make guns disappear all of a sudden.

Will a total gun ban really prevent a premeditated act of murder? Or any other felonious act? The gun ban’s unintended effect is that it encourages criminals to act more likely knowing that their law-abiding targets are unarmed. Are we to expect that implementing a certain amount of gun ban legislations would make these criminals obey the law?

Law-abiders shouldn't be taking any chances when security is concerned, a better solution would be to strictly tighten the process and acquisition of firearms.

If a thief is caught breaking in at night and is struck a fatal blow, the defender is not guilty of bloodshed. Exodus 22:2
